Hi, I am Anna, a User Researcher and Strategic UX Designer with strong analytical skills and a background in Service Design as well as Industrial Design. In the last years, I have worked on setting up user research practices and research operations, building a research team and defining product and experience strategies. I am passionate about bringing people together, change management, solving difficult problems, mapping out complex processes to create insight & overview and connecting the dots. About Me
I am passionate about User Research, UX Design, and Strategy and Service Design and have worked in this field for the last 10 years, however, also have a background in industrial design. I have experience in project management and really enjoy mentoring colleges.
Topics I am specifically interested in and working on are: research OPS, research democratization and research playbooks, organizational change towards more customer-centric and insights-informed ways of working, product and experience strategy, design for behavior change in terms of sustainability and social responsibility, design ethics, and design for cultural differences.

Living in many different countries made me aware of cultural differences and that they should be taken into consideration when designing for different cultural backgrounds. I studied different approaches to cultural dimensions (e.g Hofstede, Meyer, Cyr) and am working on guidelines for designing for different cultural backgrounds and gave talks about this topic at with Bindu Upadhyay at several meetups and conferences, such as UX camp, Inclusive Design 24 and Ladies that UX Amsterdam.
